Providing a pillar of hope in the region, Kelowna Women's Shelter supports individuals leaving abusive situations through trauma-informed programs, housing supports, and strong community partnerships.
This project will provide 49 new homes, from studios to four-bedroom townhomes, offering the stability, dignity, and space families need to move forward with confidence.
Terra Housing has supported the Kelowna Women's Shelter as their development consultant over the past several years, managing the pre-construction phases, securing funding approvals, and getting construction started. This project will help Kelowna Women's Shelter ensure more women and children who have experienced domestic abuse have a safe place to call home.
This project is funded by BC Housing, with project partners OMAHS (Okanagan Metis and Aboriginal Housing Society) and Sawchuck Construction.
