Terra is currently working with Providence Living, a faith-based, non-profit organization founded to support seniors’ care through the creation of communities that cross generations, development of campuses of care in which seniors can reside, and provision of health and wellness services.
Dakelh Ti Long Term Care involves redeveloping a 16-acre site in the College Heights neighborhood of Prince George. Benefiting local seniors and their families, the project is backed by Providence’s expertise and Northern Health funding, with land leased from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Prince George.
The first phase consists of 200 Long Term Care beds in a 3 storey building, with one level of support services (bistro, amenities, daycare, adult day programs, Providence Living offices, kitchen, laundry, and other facilities supports) as well as 8 beds in the geriatric psychiatry household. The upper two levels will be 192 seniors housing units, arranged into eight 12-unit households.
Terra is providing a full scope of development management services to Providence Living for this development which is under construction with expected completion in 2028.
