Terra worked with the Society to complete this 62 unit, nine-story building, offering housing and integrated support services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and living with mental health challenges.
A community resource centre and offices operated by the Motivation, Power & Achievement Society (MPA) is located on the first and second floors and provides services for mental health clients, both residents and non-residents. This program is one of the city-supported housing sites. Participants live independently in safe and affordable bachelor units within the complex. Half of the tenants receive enhanced services from staff including medication support and a meal program.
The project was completed in 2012 and achieved LEED Gold certification in November 2013.
