Lore Krill Housing Co-operative
65 West Cordova Street, Vancouver
New Construction

Terra provided development management for the two buildings which comprise the co-operative and worked with the original board of directors on the start-up of the co-operative: managing information sessions for potential new members, assisting in the development of a policies and procedures manual, etc.

This building has 106 units: studios (some with Murphy beds), as well as one and two bedroom units.  Funded by the City of Vancouver and BC Housing (through Homes BC) it features elevated walkways, rooftop decks and gardens in a spectacular design by Henriquez Partners Architects (who were awarded a Lieutenant-Governor's Medal in 2003 and a Governor General's Medal for Architecture in 2004 for this building).

Terra also facilitated negotiations between the co-op and the City of Vancouver-owned company which operates the underground parkade, to secure parking spaces for the co-op as well as additional spaces available to tenants at below‑market rates, during non-peak hours, benefiting both the Co-op and Easy Park.
