2019 Dundas Street, Vancouver
Wood Frame

Terra worked with the Society to see the successful completion of this renovation project.

The project involved building improvements including hazardous material removal, seismic upgrades, sun-shading and a new roof. The third floor has been converted into 16 units of short term transitional housing, with associated program space. These units are targeted at mothers and children in urgent need of housing; their stays will range from six months to one year. The main floor has a licensed daycare, commercial kitchen and dining space as well as retail spaces on Wall Street.

The front of the project is graced by a totem pole carved by local artist Michael Dangeli.  Terra project manager Rob O’Dea was asked to participate in the ceremonial raising of the pole at the grand opening of the project.
