Senior Development Manager

Shamir has been a development manager with Terra since 2002. He brings experience in law, construction safety, development and renovation, and involvement with a wide range of arts, community and charitable non-profits. He holds a B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Calgary, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria.

Principal, Terra Special Projects

Hugh brings over 35 years of real estate development and project finance experience to Terra Special Projects.  His expertise lies in deal assessment, financial anaysis and financing structure, determining alternative deal structure options and negotiation skills to find the win/win solution for the project.

Development Manager

Lindsey joined Terra as a Development Manager in 2017 and was based in Penticton working to expand Terra's presence in the Interior of the province.  He recently relocated to the Vancouver office.  Lindsey got his start with the company five years earlier when he interned with Stuart Thomas and the rest of the Terra Housing team.  He worked as a Planner for the City of Penticton, a Development

Nitty joined Terra in 2019 as an Administrative Project Assistant, responsible for disseminating project information to stakeholders, developing and maintaining project deliverables under the direction of Terra's development managers.  Previously, Nitty worked as an assistant manager in her co-op.  She graduated in 2019 from Georgian College with a Diploma in Business Accounting and holds a Bac

Proposals Co-ordinator/Art Director/Website Manager

Nancy joined Terra in 1990. As Proposals Co-ordinator, she works with clients and Terra development managers to ensure all requirements for funding proposals are compiled and submitted in a timely manner. As Art Director, she oversees, commissions and creates the visual requirements for Terra, as well as managing and providing all content for the Terra website.

Administrative Project Accountant

Rasoul joined Terra as an Administrative Project Accountant in 2019, responsible for providing support to the company and development managers throughout the development and construction process with a focus on supporting construction claims, budgeting, cashflows and financial reporting and other adminstrative aspects of projects ensuring they are successfully initiated and completed.

Albert joined Terra in 2016 as a Development Manager responsible for managing the development and implementation of projects in consultation with Terra principals and staff.

Andrew joined Terra in 2019 as a Development Manager responsible for managing the development and implementation of social purpose projects in consultation with Terra principals and staff.

Kelly joined Terra in 2017 as a Development Manager, providing the management of social purpose development construction, with responsibilities including strategic planning, budgeting, grant sourcing, due diligence, client relationships and more.

Sheila has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of developing government-funded housing projects — from group homes to assisted living facilities, conception through construction, mortgage insurance to community development.

Rob has been with Terra since 1989 in a variety of lead and supportive roles including development manager, property manager and research assistant. He is currently senior development manager and company associate.

Administrative Project Assistant / Systems Administrator

Chris joined Terra in 2015 as an Administrative Project Assistant, supporting Terra's development managers with the construction claims process and other administrative functions.

Senior Claims Administrator

Manuela joined Terra in 2013.  She is well versed in the construction claims process, GP, Vivid and Terra's development management processes.  Manuela trains new claims staff and is the senior client and funder liaison.
